On October 1, 2026, Spleenlab participated in the 1st Thuringian Aerospace Day at the ad hoc Arena in Jena. The event brought together representatives from the aerospace industry, technology companies, research institutions, and government.

Against the impressive backdrop of the historic Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld, Spleenlab conducted a live drone demonstration of its VISIONAIRY® Perception software. Attendees experienced how the technology detects and classifies objects, determines their position, and analyzes motion patterns in real time. These capabilities provide an essential foundation for safe, reliable, and high-performance autonomous systems.

During the event, Spleenlab also welcomed Mario Voigt, Minister-President of Thuringia, for a first-hand demonstration of the technology. He expressed strong interest in its capabilities and highlighted the potential of innovative companies such as Spleenlab to strengthen Thuringia’s competitiveness as a technology hub.

Dr. Georg Puhlfürst, Vice President Products & Safety at Spleenlab, delivered a presentation titled “Sovereignty in Autonomous Systems.” He introduced Spleenlab’s software solutions and discussed the importance of technological sovereignty for the development and deployment of autonomous systems.
